He has received three Olivier Awards, a Tony Award, and 2 BAFTAs. In 2019 he was awarded a Knighthood in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his services to the Arts. Sir Simon has a great love of music, starting life as a chorister at St Paul’s Cathedral.
